Dear Families,

Happy New Year! I hope this year brings you health and happiness.

I know that you are all very busy trying to get back into routine so here are some important updates.

 ·         Thank you to those of you who have signed up for Parent Teacher Interviews. I would really appreciate it if you can fill out the ‘Interview Sheet Questions’ prior to coming to the meetings as this allows for me to obtain informative comments about your child’s progress to add to the report card. If you have not signed up for an interview please call Sandie and do so. I have a few openings for January but am already booking into February.

·         Keep up with submitting your child’s work. I am very impressed with the progress students are making in their studies. If you need more L.A., math, social or science submission forms please see Sandie or e-mail me and I can place them in your child’s file.

·         Don’t forget to sign up for camps next week. We have Ancient Athens which will cover some grade 6 objectives, Berenstain Bears  and Reviving the Renaissance which will cover Grade 8 social objectives to name but a few camps.

·         Also if you are in Junior High and looking at gaining some credits before registering for High School we have a Financial course starting next week.  If you have any questions as to how the Credit courses work for Junior High students please contact me.

·         Don’t forget that Wednesday will be teen day. This week we have a Youth in Action class which will involve teens taking on an important project to help save the world! This project can help contribute to outcomes for Health and Optional Courses.

I look forward to seeing many of you this coming week.

Happy Learning!

Kim Parachoniak
